Sempermed Introduces Three New Products at the A+A 2013

Vienna, Austria/Düsseldorf, Germany, 5 November 2013 – Sempermed, one of the leading global manufacturers of medical and industrial gloves, is expanding its product portfolio. Sempermed is presenting three product innovations at the A+A, the largest international specialist trade fair for “Safety, Security and Health at Work” being held from November 5-8, 2013: Semperguard® Style, Semperguard® Nitril Comfort Lite and Semperguard® Latex Comfort. Sempermed is thus following the ongoing trend towards nitrile glove solutions, which convince customers due to their optimized wall thickness and enhanced wearing comfort.

Sempermed has specially developed gloves designed to fulfil the different needs of industrial users in a targeted manner, for example with regard to occupational safety, food, professional cleaning and pharmaceuticals/laboratories. The high level of product competence and market proximity help Sempermed to recognise trends at an early stage. “This segmentation enables us to precisely tailor our product portfolio to the requirements of our customers, and at the same time provide orientation to select among the host of new products on the marketplace”, says Birgit Schnetzlinger, Head of Global Marketing.

Semperguard® Style – The Black Nitrile

Semperguard® Style is a disposable, black protective glove made of latex-free nitrile which stands out because of its high elasticity. Thanks to its special properties, it is especially suitable for use in “front end applications” such as the catering, beauty and body art sectors. Semperguard® Style fulfils both medical and industrial requirements due to its dual labelling.

Semperguard® Nitrile Comfort Lite – The Light Nitrile

Semperguard® Nitrile Comfort Lite, which features reduced wall thickness, is a blue disposable protective glove made of latex-free nitrile. It is ideally suited for precision work and boasts a high level of wearing comfort. Its special nitrile formula ensures high chemical resistance and offers protection in dealing with oil-based chemicals such as common acids, bases and salt solutions.* Its signal colour blue makes it suitable for areas in the food industry which are subject to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards.

Semperguard® Latex Comfort – The Comfortable Latex

Semperguard® Latex Comfort, the chlorinated powder-free glove based on an innovative online technology, offers improved wearing comfort and customary chemical resistance*. The wall thickness was reduced once again compared to the existing Semperguard® Latex IC. This successor impresses users due to its even greater sensitivity and good grip.
